Only 6.7% of women graduate with STEM degrees. To really impact the gender gap we needed to reach girls who don’t think STEM is for them, so we connected it to their passion to change the world for the better.

“Change the Odds”

On International Women’s Day, we released a film showing girls how their passion to change the world could be possible using Microsoft technology like the Hololens augmented reality headset. We also showed them that the reality is unless they stay in STEM, odds are they won’t be able to solve these big problems—encouraging them to change the odds.

We partnered with Linkedin to help turn girls’ passions into pursuits, creating a digital tool that paired their interests with possible STEM careers of the future. Over 35,000 careers were generated.
